A hands-on workshop

Join Aidan, our resident builder and engineer at The Laurels Farm, for a fun and educational class where you’ll learn how to build your very own birdhouse from start to finish. Perfect for kids, teens, and families (grown-ups are welcome too!), this workshop is all about creativity, learning, and connecting with nature.

Aidan will walk you through:

•  Why birdhouses matter and how they support local wildlife
• Step-by-step instructions on how to build a functional, safe birdhouse
• Tips on where to place your birdhouse for the best results once you take it home

All tools and materials are provided (but you are welcome to bring your own) —just bring your curiosity and a willingness to build! This is a great way to introduce young people to basic building skills, while helping support the birds that share our ecosystem.
